The EMT/Basic is responsible for delivering and administering high quality care and transportation to ill and injured persons. The EMT/Basic must demonstrate clinical competency and compassion in providing for physical and emotional needs of patients.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must be proficient in English; must have the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
Experience as an EMT preferred. A baccalaureate degree is preferred.
License or certification
Current certification as a Nationally Registered EMT/Basic. Current Minnesota and/or Wisconsin EMT/Basic Licensure/Certification. Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification. Current and valid driver's license.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum pay rate is $15..43 per hour.
