Work Schedule: Varied Days and Hours
Location: Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital
Education: High School Diploma or GED; Previous EMS Dispatch experience preferred. 2 years ED patient care experience including triage experience preferred. Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions is required. 2-5 years of experience as a paramedic preferred. National EMD License preferred.
Credentials: Paramedic Licensure - New Mexico; BLS/CPR; ACLS; Valid NM Driver's License
* Paramedics without either an Associate’s Degree OR 5 years of direct patient care Paramedic experience
* Requires NM Paramedic license
* Includes Paramedics who are not in a minimum of .45 pointage Paramedic position will remain in this grade Summary:
Performs advanced patient care within State approved scope of practice in pre-hospital, urgent care and emergency department settings. Receives emergency medical telephone calls, urgent care calls and to dispatch medical ambulance crews to designated PHS locations to provide emergency care to injured or ill patients.
