Summary Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his\/her expertise as an Emergency Management Specialist. You can make a difference in the West by serving as a Emergency Management Specialist. As an Emergency Management Specialist you will provide technical and guidance to the Director's Office in the technical direction and review of challenging policies, projects, activities, and procedures used in reducing risk in Reclamation. Would you enjoy ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Government facilities? Responsibilities include developing and administering Reclamation-wide programs to ensure the security and safety of all Reclamation personnel, facilities, processes or other resources under the jurisdiction of Reclamation. LOCATION: Bureau of Reclamation; Safety, Security and Law Enforcement; Program and Emergency Management Office in Lakewood, CO. Responsibilities -Serves as the Bureau lead for Continuity of Operations (COOP) Programs. -Provides programmatic guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with rules and higher-level authorities. -Develops, exercises, and modifies plans to achieve organizational reliability. -Participates in multi-organization teams to support continuity programs across the Department of the Interior.
