We are currently seeking the right individuals to ensure quality service to Aquatic Park patrons through food preparation and concession area counter service. JOB SUMMARY Greet customers and take food\/concession orders in a friendly and efficient manner. Prepare food items with the highest quality control for health and safety. Conduct accurate cash transactions. Follow all procedures related to the position including but not limited to: cash control procedures, inventory procedures, safety procedures and\u00a0security procedures. Maintain cleanliness of concessions area and surrounding park space. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must be at least 16 years of age by date of hire. Must be 18 years of age to operate all equipment. Prior food services experience a plus. Ability to accurately operate a cash register, make change, and present a courteous and positive attitude toward customers. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS CPR and First Aid certifications desired. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES To perform this job well, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and\/or ability required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. \u00a0 MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to make and count change for concessions purchases accurately. \u00a0 REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense and to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. \u00a0 MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED Cash register, cooking grills, and other kitchen utensils. \u00a0 PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. \u00a0 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to lift and\/or move up to 50 pounds.\u00a0 \u00a0 WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. \u00a0 Primarily indoor environment. Exposure to cooking grills. While performing duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and\/or humid conditions and extreme heat.
