Position Summary:
Exciting opportunity to become a member of our dynamic behavioral health emergency services team. As a member of this team, you will provide both crisis and intake assessments at our outpatient community behavioral health center in Woonsocket.
Duties would include meeting face to face with new clients seeking services, making in house referrals to center programs and assisting emergency clinicians with crisis phone screenings and assessments when needed. Specialized training to become qualified as a mental health professional (QMHP) in the state of Rhode Island will be offered to MA level applicants upon hire. This is a fulltime position with flexibly in work days and hours. Four-day work week options are available. Experience in the use of DSM 5 as well as knowledge of ASAM criteria is a must.
All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be shown upon hire.
Education and Training Required:
Master's Degree in a human services related field required LMHC, LICSW, or PC preferred. BA, LCDP candidates will be considered based on experience.
-Employee will assume full responsibility for the cost of maintaining any and all forms of licensure, certification, and credentialing documentation as required in their job description or sited on any Action form as a qualification for hiring, job promotion, or monetary increase. Subsequently, the employee will adhere to the credentialing requirements of all insurance/funding sources for which they qualify and provide Human Resources and/or the Credentialing Specialist with the initial required documentations (licenses, liability insurance policies, DEA numbers etc. and all renewals of these documents thereafter .
